I was diagnosed with ADHD at 34 years old, and it changed my life thanks to Jeanne. Jeanne supported me through some of the most difficult times in my life, including the pandemic and several personal losses. She kept me grounded when everything felt overwhelming. What makes Jeanne stand out is that she doesn’t just prescribe medication, she truly listens, she cares, and she advocates for you when you can’t even advocate for yourself. Now, I’m on my way to becoming a Speech Language Pathologist so I can help children the way Jeanne helped me, by truly seeing them. I’ve since moved out of state and no longer see her, but Jeanne is by far the best provider I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely gets it and will be in your corner, I can’t recommend her enough.

I can say, without exaggeration, that Jeanne is a life saver. When I came to her, I was in one of the darkest places I’ve ever been, and from the very first appointment, she made me feel seen, heard, and supported. Jeanne didn’t just treat my symptoms — she treated me as a whole person. She listened without judgment, adjusted my treatment plan thoughtfully, and guided me through moments when I truly didn’t think I could make it. Her combination of clinical expertise and deep compassion is rare and absolutely life-changing. What stood out most is how deeply she cares. I never felt like just another patient. Jeanne has been my psychiatrist for going on 5(?) years now. I’ve seen MANY psych providers throughout my life but always had issues with them, eventually. Jeanne is compassionate, understanding and willing to try various solutions when issues with my mental health arise. I trust her and she has been a consistent and positive practitioner in my life! I really am glad that I met Jeanne Nicholson. I was in a very very dark place when I first came to her office. She is always so understanding. She actually listens to what you’re saying. And includes you and your thoughts and opinions in your on-going care and medications. My work schedule changes and she always can find and schedule a late appt. She’s super flexible..Which is absolutely wonderful for me. I like that we have the zoom appts. But it’s alway a pleasure to see her in person. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and has always been there when I needed her. She’s is super informative on new medications when I start…and always asked how I am feeling in the next follow up appt. As to what is working and not working. She has helped me so much on my mental health journey and learning to cope with the issues I have. My transformation has been truly incredible. I can’t speak highly of her enough. I strongly recommend her to everyone!

I started seeing Jeanne in late 2020, at the height of Covid. We, of course had all of our sessions online. This last visit we met in person, and I was utterly blown away by her kindness, empathy, compassion, and professionalism. She was her normal, thoughtful and thorough self, but she was so much more when in her actual presence. She gets me in a way that I haven’t been understood before by a provider, and her gentle, caring vibes made me feel so comfortable ( I typically do not leave the house). Very easy and quick conversations

I’ve been dealing with personal mental health issues for at last 10 years now and had many psych providers. Jeanne is fantastic! Her approach to therapy is personal and very professional.
